'Glenmona' was established by pastoralists Hall and McNeil in 1839. Date of homestead building presumed to be before 1853. Stone single-storey homestead of random rubble stone with squared coursed stone for the principal facade. Two wings symmetrically disposed and projecting bow end walls. The first gold discovered in Victoria was located by Thomas Chapman on the McNeil and Hall sheep run 'Glenmorna' in 1848. Classifiedl: 13/05/1976 |

The second Glenmona Bridge built in 1871, is a very early locally designed and produced continuous wrought-iron lattice-girder deck-truss road bridge on bluestone-masonry abutments and piers (originally with a twin-layer diagonally-timbered deck and timber side rails, but the timber element of the superstructure has been destroyed by fire.
